And then the other thing I have is access to my layers. They are really like separate pages in the document. So I've got my home page that I've wire framed, and I've also got a content page that I've wire framed.

Canvases are essentially like different pages. We'll be working with these in detail, but for now I want you to see where these are, which is in the side bar, and also what they represent. Now, what you see in the side bar is access both to canvases, which are on the top, and layers, which are on the bottom. Now I've opened up my side bar here, and that button is right there, so if you don't see it just go ahead and click it. Don't worry, we're gonna go over how we got here, I just really want to show you while we're talking about commonly used tools, how important canvases and layers can be. As you can see we've skipped way ahead in this course to use our wire frame that we're gonna build later as the example. I want to take about canvases and layers which are showing up here in the side bar.
